Secretary of State for the Environment of Portugal met the TWIST Project

The Secretary of State for the Environment of Portugal, Carlos Martins, was present at the opening session of the ” Innovation Pathway 2018″ event. Organized by Águas do Tejo Atlântico (AdTA), and visited about 50 entities and research and innovation projects that were in the exhibition area, including the TWIST project.

The Director of Asset Management and Innovation of Águas do Tejo Atlântico, Pedro Póvoa, accompanied the Secretary of State for the Environment in his visit to the various projects and had the opportunity to present the TWIST project focused on the development of an open innovation model for the management of waste water promoting circular economy and compliance with the Water Framework Directive.

The “Innovation Pathway 2018”, dedicated to innovation in the management and treatment of wastewater, took place on September 26, 2018, at the Alcântara Water Plant in Lisbon, and had 400 participants from different areas and nationalities counting still with about 300 views per stream.
